Lavazza Cold Brew and BBQ with Pig Beach Chef Matt Abdoo

Matt Abdoo is known for making tasty barbecue meat dishes and juicy burgers at his popular Brooklyn restaurant Pig Beach. In the summer, standing in front of the grill can get pretty hot, so Abdoo likes to keep cool with a Lavazza cold brew. Here, the chef demonstrates his French press cold brew technique using Lavazza Tierra Organic coffee. “It’s a lighter roast coffee which is perfect for making cold brew,” Abdoo says. He makes a concentrate to mix with water for his cold brew fix, and he has the coffee pull double duty as an ingredient in a tangy BBQ sauce.
