World-renowned, three-Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura of former No. 1 restaurant in the world, Osteria Francescana in Modena, is bringing his other-worldly cooking to Los Angeles. His new restaurant Gucci Osteria Da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills opens on February 17, 2020 on the roof of the newly redesigned Gucci Los Angeles store set on the palm-tree-lined street of the famed Rodeo Drive.

Coming off his perfectly paired collaboration with Gucci at his osteria inside Gucci Garden in Florence, Italy, Bottura blends fashion and food in the most delicious ways. Savory plates like his world-famous Tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano cream sits atop red marble dining tables as guests salivate among the Gucci Décor wallpaper and antique mirrors. His legendary Emilia burger is also on tap along with new creations from Bottura’s deep well of remarkable recipes.

In a sneak preview of the restaurant, chef Bottura invited many of his celebrity friends for a VIP opening. Guests in attendance included Gwyneth Paltrow, Iggy Pop, Saoirse Ronan, and Salma Hayek – it didn’t hurt that most A-listers were already in town for the 2020 Oscars.
Chef Bottura teams up with Karime López, the chef de cuisine of Gucci Osteria in Florence, and Mattia Agazzi, chef de cuisine of Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills, to regale diners with a deeply Italian menu sourced from California’s epic local ingredients.

Open for both lunch and dinner, seven days a week, the restaurant seats 50 guests and provides a little bit of coziness and intimacy to an already star-studded scene of Beverly Hills Italian restaurants.
