This weekend, TV celebrity chef Marco Canora, owner of Hearth restaurant and Brodo in Manhattan, invited customers to stop by the Brodo pick-up window on 1st Avenue to enjoy some “tasty, nourishing food” prepared by the chef himself.
As part of his new “hearth to home” takeout offering, Chef Marco turned his soup kitchen upside down, preparing batches of healthy options, from fresh pasta and tomato sauces to various soups that use his signature bone broths. (“Brodo” means broth in Italian.)
Chef Marco asked followers to share their favorite ingredients as he whipped up new recipes with his brodos. He calls the brodos “nutritional powerhouses,” full of collagen, gelatin, protein, amino acids and minerals.
Orders must be placed online–not at the window– and you’ll be rewarded with the Chef’s recipe guide for making something delicious (and totally freezable).
