La Cucina Italiana has partnered with the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West to present a virtual culinary experience featuring Antonia Klugmann, a Michelin-rated, leading Italian chef. The one-hour event takes place on Saturday, June 19 at 1:00 pm EST/10:00 am PST. Participation is free – click here to register in advance.
Our editor-in-chief Maddalena Fossati will take a seat at Klugmann’s “Authentic Italian Table” where the chef will showcase recipes while discussing the multifaceted essence of Italian cuisine. Klugmann is the chef and owner of L'Argine a Venco, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Friuli-Venezia Giulia located less than a mile from the Slovenian border.
The conversation will focus the "My Authentic Italian Table" from Klugmann's perspective – what the authentic Italian table means to her, the must-have items in her pantry, and the memories and emotions connected to the simple action of cooking a meal.
The virtual culinary experience is part of the IACCW’s annual True Italian Taste events, which are funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and led by Assocamerestero (Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad). The initiative aims to let participants explore and connect with Italy's culinary heritage through the lens of its most iconic leading chefs.
