And we’re not just talking about vegetables, fruit, pasta, meat and fish. Turn the bottom of the container into a tasty snack
How can you make a delicious snack with leftover ice cream? Just let the container freeze well and remove the last bits of ice cream with a knife. Then blend it with nuts, cream or chocolate.
Use it as a filling
Leftover ice cream or gelato can also be used to make fresh desserts. It’s ideal for an extra touch in banana bread, cakes or tarts!
Combine with fresh seasonal fruit
Combine leftover ice cream with peaches, melon, watermelon or apricots. It’s ideal as a snack or a dessert at the end of a meal. If the fruit is particularly ripe, cool it in the freezer for a few hours and once frozen, blend it with the ice cream for a fruity kind of milkshake!
